Dog Days will be Aug 16, 2014 Captain Sam Purcell of Captain Sam's Boat Yard, Elbert Kennard of Coastal Photography and Bill Albrecht are the facilitator's of this event. Our goal is to provide a fun event with casual racing and gound activities. Boats will need a PHRF rating, your rating does not have to be active we use it for starting times. Come out and enjoy a day of Racing with Friends and help support the Little Washington Sailing School

All sailboats of all sizes and experience are welcomed, racing will be simple windward, leeward with a Pursuit start. It will be HOT that's why its Dog Days!
Products and Services
The Dog Days Regatta will be held on August 16th, 2014 and all racing will be in the Blounts Bay/Pamlico River. Ground events will be at Captain Sam's Tiki Bar. Racing Fee is $25.00. We will have Spinnaker, Non Spinnaker, Party and if I get 5 Skippers that would like to do a Solo Race we will include it also. Race start time will be 11am. Skippers Meeting at the Tiki Bar 9am, your exact starting time will be assigned.

This will be our 4th year of raising funds for the Little Washington Sailing School, we would like to thank our Sponsors, Select Bank and Trust, PCS Phosphate, Flanders Filters and all of the Skippers.
Additional Information
Trophies are awarded, 100% of all funds raised go to the Little Washington Sailing School. The event costs are provided by Captain Sam's Boat Yard, Coastal Photography, Bill Albrecht and Robert Stanley
